Is Better Together on a BATA route?
We are working with BATA to have a regular BATA route to the building.
What are the hours of Better Together?
We will be M-F when we are fully staffed with volunteers. Field trip opportunities will be scheduled on some Saturdays along with other special events on weekends.
We will be polling our members on the hours that work the best, choosing by majority rule.

How can I make a one time donation?
You can make a one-time donation securely through our website, by mail, or by phone. To donate by mail, please send a check made payable to Better Together of Northern Michigan, Inc. to our mailing address: PO Box 5441, Traverse City, MI 49696.
Can I set up a recurring donation?
Absolutely! Recurring donations are a fantastic way to provide ongoing support. You can set up automatic monthly contributions through our secure online donation platform.
Are donations to Better Together of Northern Michigan tax-deductible?
Yes, as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, all donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You will receive a receipt for your records.
How are my donations used?
Donations directly help support activities, resources, and community initiatives that enrich the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families. This includes creating opportunities, fostering connections, and promoting inclusivity in our community. Donation funds are allocated to the areas of greatest need first, followed by the next priorities in order of importance, ensuring resources are used effectively to maximize impact.

Can I volunteer useful items or my skills instead of donating money?
Yes, we gladly accept donations of useful items, such as equipment or supplies that align with our mission. Who can become a member of Better Together of Northern Michigan?
Membership is open to individuals aged 18 and older with a disability, as well as their families and advocates.
What is the cost of membership?
Membership is free with a signed application.
